The RIX Storm S3R is a compact and powerful thermal rifle scope built for hunters who want precision, usability, and advanced features—without stepping into the high-end price tier. Powered by a sensitive 384×288 thermal sensor and NETD < 20 mK, the S3R offers excellent thermal performance with reduced noise and enhanced image clarity, even in tough environmental conditions.

With a 3.5× base magnification, the S3R is purpose-built for mid-range shooting, offering crisp target definition and better identification at extended distances. Combined with a high-contrast OLED display, the S3R delivers detailed imagery in a streamlined platform.

Intuitive RTC Function for Centered Reticle

The Reticle Tracking Correction (RTC) feature automatically repositions the reticle closer to center after zeroing, improving your field of view and making it easier to stay focused on the target—especially when small adjustments would normally cause significant offset.

Compact Integrated LRF

The S3R comes with a tiny, built-in laser rangefinder offering accurate ranging up to 1,312 yards with ±1 meter precision. This sleek integration adds no bulk and pairs with a free Rix ballistic calculator, helping you quickly dial in for longer shots.

Independent Picture-in-Picture (PIP) Zoom

Unlike standard thermal scopes, the Storm S3R allows independent magnification control of the PIP window, giving you a zoomed-in view of your target while maintaining situational awareness in the full field of view—a serious advantage when scanning or tracking in dynamic environments.

Glove-Friendly Controls with Visual Feedback

The four-direction enlarged button layout is optimized for gloved use and directly mirrors the user interface. Each button press lights up the corresponding UI element, offering instant confirmation and intuitive control—ideal for low-light conditions or fast-action scenarios.

Flexible Power, Minimal Downtime

The S3R runs on a removable 18650 battery and features a 90-degree quick-detach battery cap, allowing hunters to change power sources quickly and easily in the field, without tools or delays.
